I think of this whenever I think of the fact that we are less than 3 weeks away from finishing the film program & how much I’m gonna miss seeing & working with everyone every day. I’m gonna miss those dumbfaces so much :’-(

Let’s have a little film production rant, shall we…
First… People need to read their damn call sheets!!! I didn’t spend almost 2hr making that call sheet from scratch for shits & giggles. We were almost 2hr behind schedule coz people didn’t read their times. The fucking cast was there before the crew. That’s just wrong.
Secondly…just coz you’re 1st AD doesn’t mean you can smoke in the middle of set!! The rules do not bend just coz you’re 1st. It’s incredibly rude, inconsiderate, & unprofessional. You are not boss. It just makes you look like even more of a douchebag.
Thirdly… I ask you 5 times whether we can dismiss talent that aren’t our classmates, you say yes so we dismiss them then you get pissed coz you fucking either heard wrong from DP or director, or you actually didn’t ask them, and it turns out we need them & you try to blame me & my assistant.
Fourthly… at the end of shoot, EVERYONE helps clear up. You do not get exemption coz you’re not G&E. I was 2nd AD & I was hauling as much cable & equipment as the electric/grip department! Everyone helps. Don’t bitch at me about claiming I think I know everything about editing (which I know i don’t) then don’t fucking help us clear up you stuck up bitch.
And breeeeeath…
But aside from that it was an awesome shoot & I’m so proud of our awesome film class.

Editing Room via Starkid GIF Reactions
So I arrive at 8.15am to finish editing my trailer for the short I’m co-editing with Daniel.
I finish it & it looks totally awesome!
We have class where we watch Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope, and Children of Men.
I’m laughing hysterically at Children of Men coz the ending is in Bexhill [next to my hometown] and they bomb it.
Then we have a 10min break & we find out that we’ve lost the RAW files of scene 9.
Someone fucking tells the director.
Daniel gets bitched out.
So we have to wait 5 hours before we can go back to editing Daniel’s trailer coz we forgot to mirror the drives.
Then we start editing Daniel’s trailer & discover that we both go insane when we edit.
Then ASIA COMES TO VISIT!
And she has beer & pizza!
And we love her for all eternity.
Then we finally go home at 1am.
